If I didn’t need sleep, I would devote so much more time to my hobbies. I’d spend all night staring at the night skies, observing the cosmos wherever I could. Nothing would be able to tear me from the Night’s embrace. On a cloudy night, I would spend the time writing or playing video games. I could churn out so many more poems and short stories than I can now with the extra time. Perhaps, I’d learn some new hobbies in connection to this newfound time. I mean, I’d be gaining another quarter of my life on average. I’d try to capture as much of the beauty of the world within my mind’s eye as possible. As a scholar at heart, I find myself enamored with the idea of attaining more information, though I have no idea how I’d remember it all without sleep. Maybe I’d keep a notebook on my person every day. Memory might be the only problem without needing to sleep.
