This is the question everyone wants to know, right? What would you do if you won the lottery? First things first, I’d pay off my debts because college is expensive. Second though, I’d put a large portion of my money into an investment account to ensure that I’m protected from the slow rise of inflation. Also, I’d probably hire a financial advisor to learn how best to implement my next plans. Since many of the lottery winnings in the US are millions of dollars, I’d buy a house for my parents. It wouldn’t anything massive, but I’d make sure they get what they need.
Next, I’d buy myself a house. It would be something rather sweet and cozy cottage somewhere on the outskirts of a city. I mean, I’d rather live somewhere I’d have the choice to drive rather than being forced to do so. I’m not sure where that would be, but I’ll figure it out. Of course, I’d buy myself a new computer because I’d have a lot of extra money. That’s the problem with winning the lottery. You always get too much money for one person to have. So, I’d donate the rest of the money after I get myself set up. I wouldn’t tell my friends too much because as much as I love them, I’d rather donate the money to causes that I know will be responsible with the money.
Of course, I’d have a lot of room for extra spending assuming everything goes according to plan, even after the taxes that the government would take from the winnings. So, I would buy myself some cool things to display in my house, but I’m not sure what. What would you do with the winnings?
