Triggering what is meant to come to pass
Infinite lines stretch out before us
In the last light left without a fuss
Somehow the page keeps turning
As we keep spiraling
Closer and closer to one another
Until the envelope begins to shudder
Crashing together as particles flay
Thousands of particles in alpha-decay
A hole in my heart consuming me
From within the depths no one can see
Darkness growing as my core collapses
Frying all the lingering synapses
Of my partner as he falls flat
On the ground with a splat
My gravity seals the light
Creating around me a universal plight
