Cold sweat drips down my neck
Blood curdles in the veins

Bones rattle in their flesh-bound cage
Thought tumble over one another
Vicious hounds frothing at the mouth
As the carousel whirls ‘round once more
Tracing circles into infinitude
Seals unbind, souls intwined
