My Hype Songs

I’ve got plenty of songs that always rile me up and get me amped up. Whether they’re hard rock songs screaming of defiance and resilience or hit blockbuster songs about fighting demons, my anthems are emblematic of my music tastes as a whole. So, let’s get to know me a little better based on my song preferences.

The first song on my list is Deafening by Solence. I found the song during my early years of high school, and I could tell you countless stories of moments that I pushed through because I was listening to this song. However, there’s a better way to explain. Imagine if you will that you’re a teenager struggling with self-confidence. We’ve all been there, and if you haven’t, you’ll experience this feeling someday. Now, imagine that you find a song that tells you that there are millions of people standing with you ready to face whatever is in front of you. You’d feel inspired too, right? Well, that’s what Deafening does. It makes you feel like you are among a crowd of people ready to scream back at the naysayers and do it anyway. That’s the kind of song I’m talking about.

The next songs were created for the Netflix film Kpop Demon Hunters, though I have a hard time picking which one I prefer more. Most days I prefer Takedown, but I also really love Golden too. Takedown is very much like the first song where I feel as though I’m ready to break down a door and take on the world. If I’m struggling with something or I know that I need to get something done, sometimes I’ll just throw on Takedown because I know it’ll get me the spark I need to finish it. Golden, on the other hand, grounds me in my ever-evolving sense of self. The song makes me feel as though I can relax for brief moment and understand that someone else understands the struggles of life. That’s something I’ll never take for granted!

Of course, there are plenty of other songs that I could talk about, but this is a quick little post I’m working on, so I will make a part two in the near future. I’ll see you around!

Have a great rest of your day!
